A traditional flint cottage in which the bread was baked when the building was also part of the old village stores. The Bakehouse provides comfortable accommodation for couples and families.
The living/dining area has a sofa, two armchairs and a dining table that seats 4. There is a flat screen TV with digital free-view and access to Amazon Prime and Netflix (using your own account details), iPod docking station and a selection of books and games for guests to enjoy.
The spacious kitchen is fully equipped and has an electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer.
The downstairs bathroom features a large shower, washbasin, toilet and heated towel rail.
Upstairs there are two bedrooms, one with a super-king-size bed, goose down duvet and goose and duck feather topper.
The second room has twin beds and views over the garden.
Guests are welcome to share use of The Old Bakery’s walled garden. In the garden, the summerhouse has a selection of outdoor games, including croquet, badminton and boules for guests to play or alternatively sit and relax in the summerhouse, the patio or in the south-facing garden.
The price per night is for the use of the self-catering cottage and includes heating, electricity and WiFi. The cost ranges from £80 per night in low season to £100 per night in peak season. We offer a discount on stays of 6 or 7 nights for bookings that are made direct on our website. The minimum stay is 3 nights.
